Prices for gas in Uzbekistan hikes by 7.3%

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- Prices for natural gas for population and enterprises will increase in Uzbekistan from 1 October 2015. The growth rate makes up 7.3%.

New tariff gas prices were approved by the Ministry of Finance of Uzbekistan, according to Uzbekneftegaz.

Uzbekneftegaz said that the population will pay 208.92 soums per 1 cubic meter of gas if they have gas meter. The current cost of 1 cubic meter of gas is 194.7 soums. The growth rate made up 7.3%.

At the same time, the cost of 1 cubic meter of gas, if there is no gas meter, will grow from 336.705 soums to 361.295 soums (+7.3%).
