Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev will make an official visit to the Republic of Türkiye on 29 January at the invitation of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.

During his stay in Ankara, the fourth meeting of the Strategic Cooperation Council, chaired by the leaders of both countries, is scheduled to take place. The discussions will focus on further developing Uzbek-Turkish relations within the framework of a comprehensive strategic partnership.

Key topics on the agenda include deepening political dialogue, increasing trade turnover, implementing joint projects in priority economic sectors, and strengthening transport connectivity. In addition, the visit will continue active cultural and humanitarian exchanges, as well as discussions on pressing international and regional issues.

Following the high-level talks, a significant package of agreements is expected to be signed. The leaders of both countries will also participate in a series of humanitarian events.
