President of Uzbekistan leaves for Moscow

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- President of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov left on an official visit for Moscow, Russia, on 19 April on the invitation of President of Russia Dmitriy Medvedev.

Islam Karimov and Dmitriy Medvedev will consider issues of further development of Uzbek-Russian relations, as well as regional and international problems of mutual interest.

Signing of a number of bilateral documents aimed at expansion of cooperation in various areas is expected during the visit, UzA reported.
