President of Uzbekistan arrives in Russia

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- President of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov arrived in Moscow, Russia, on 19 April with an official visit on invitation of the Russian President Dmitriy Medvedev.

Main events in the visit agenda will take place on 20 April. Islam Karimov and Dmitriy Medvedev will consider issues of further development of Uzbek-Russian relations, as well as regional and international problems of mutual interest.

Signing of a number of bilateral documents aimed at expansion of cooperation in various areas is expected during the visit, UzA reported.
