Posts of medical psychologist, suicidologist introduced in medical institutions

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Today, from 1 August 2023, positions of a medical psychologist and a suicidologist are being introduced in some medical institutions, the press service of the Ministry of Health reports.

In some medical institutions, the following positions are being introduced:

- a medical psychologist - in district (city) multidisciplinary central polyclinics:

- a suicidologist - in neuropsychiatric dispensaries that do not have inpatient beds, and in psychiatric hospitals that have dispensaries;

- an admissions doctor, a psychiatrist on duty, a medical psychologist or a psychotherapist within the current states - in neuropsychiatric dispensaries with inpatient beds, and in psychiatric hospitals.
