Foreign Ministers of Uzbekistan and Turkeye hold a telephone conversation

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 4 July 2022, a telephone conversation took place between acting Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Vladimir Norov with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Turkeye Mevlut Cavusoglu.

At the beginning of the conversation, M. Cavusoglu expressed Turkeye's firm support for the decisive measures taken by Uzbekistan to ensure peace, security and public tranquility in the Republic of Karakalpakstan, all-round support for the sustainable development of this region.

The importance of timely and comprehensive implementation of the agreements reached during the Uzbek-Turkish high-level meetings was emphasized.

Organizational and substantive aspects related to the holding of planned events in bilateral and multilateral formats, including the trilateral meeting "Uzbekistan - Azerbaijan - Turkeye" at the level of heads of departments in charge of foreign policy, economics and transport, in Tashkent were discussed.
