Uzbek Student Wins Gold at 'I Am a Professional' Olympiad
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Daniil Ermakov, a student at the Almalyk branch of NITU MISIS, has won a gold medal at the "I Am a Professional" international student olympiad.
The official award ceremony for the winners took place at the Russia National Center in Moscow.
Farhod Umarov, the director of the Almalyk branch of NITU MISIS, presented the award to the winner. The educational institution noted that the student's victory demonstrates the high level of youth training and the development of academic cooperation.
According to the organizers, the achievement is of particular significance because Uzbekistan became the only foreign country whose representative won a victory at the olympiad.
The university emphasized that this result demonstrates the openness of the intellectual competition to international participation and the high level of student training.
"The victory of Daniil Ermakov serves as an example of how intellectual competitions unite youth and form a common professional space," branch director Farhod Umarov said.
