Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) - In order to ensure the implementation of the Resolution of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan from 11 December 2020 “On measures to further accelerate the organization of the introduction of water-saving technologies in agriculture”, a draft resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan has been prepared.
It is envisaged to invalidate a number of Decrees of the Government of the Republic of Uzbekistan, including the Regulation on the procedure for reimbursing part of the costs of producers in agriculture for the introduction of water-saving technologies;
It is planned to approve the standard composition of the regional working commission for the allocation of subsidies to cover part of the costs of introducing water-saving technologies for growing crops;
The document will also approve amendments to the regulation on the fund for the development of gardening and greenhouse facilities under the agency for the development of gardening and greenhouse facilities under the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Uzbekistan, approved by the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated June 11, 2019 No. 481;
The draft resolution establishes the procedure for allocating subsidies to agricultural producers in order to cover part of the costs incurred when introducing water-saving technologies for growing agricultural products.
At the same time, subsidies are allocated from the State Budget, the Horticulture and Greenhouse Development Fund of the Agency for the Development of Horticulture and Greenhouse Economy under the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Uzbekistan, as well as the Wine Development Fund of the Agency for the Regulation of the Alcohol and Tobacco Market and the Development of Winemaking.
