Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- In January-September 2020, farms of all categories produced about 7.96 million tonnes of milk (2.9% more than in January-September 2019).

According to the State Statistics Committee, among economic categories, the largest volume of milk production was noted in dekhkan (personal subsidiary) farms – 7.54 million tonnes, or 94.7% of the total production.

Compared to 2019, for the specified period, there was an increase in farms by 16.4% and in dekhkan (personal subsidiary) farms - by 2.3%.

The largest share in the total milk production fell on Samarkand region (12.3%). The lowest share was observed in the Republic of Karakalpakstan (2.9%).
