Uzbekistan, France to develop cooperation in education sphere to new level

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A delegation of Uzbekistan headed by Deputy Prime Minister Aziz Abdukhakimov held a meeting with the leadership of the French Ministry of Education in Paris.

Representatives of the two countries discussed strengthening cooperation in the field of preschool, secondary and vocational education.

Also, issues related to the establishment of French language and culture centers and the expansion of the legal framework were considered. In particular, Uzbekistan and France intend to sign new agreements and cooperation programs between the ministries of education of the two countries.

The parties agreed to implement perceptive projects, including in the field of pre-school education, increase the number of specialized schools and hours of teaching the French language in Uzbekistan, as well as the development of educational materials, manuals and multimedia applications.

It is expected that the Ministry of preschool and public education of Uzbekistan and France will soon sign the Cooperation Program for 2019-2021.
