Notary fee for one-year cars canceled

From 1 January 2018, Uzbekistan abolished increased rate for fee notarization of powers of attorney and contracts for cars up to one year.
On 29 December 2017, the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev signed a resolution “On forecast of the main macroeconomic indicators and parameters of the State Budget of the Republic of Uzbekistan for 2018”.
Earlier, the fee for certification of powers of attorney for the right to use (order) or contracts of sale, exchange, gift, rent, rent, free use, pledge and leasing of cars of domestic and imported production by the notaries for a period of one year from the date of purchase from official dealers was 5 minimum wages (MW) for each horsepower.
The current duty for certification of purchase and sale agreements, barter, donations of motor vehicles up to three years is 10% of the MW, foreign motor vehicles - 30% of the MW, for certifying powers of attorney for the right to use and dispose of cars to parents, spouse and his parents, children and their spouses, brothers, sisters, grandchildren and nephews - 1 MW, 5 MW for the right to use other persons, 10 MW for the right to dispose of cars to others.
