Piton Factory Plant Opens in Chirchik Technopark
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — A new industrial enterprise, Piton Factory, specializing in the production of busbar systems and power take-off units, was officially opened on 19 April in the Chirchik Technopark in the Tashkent region. Investment at the first stage of the project amounted to $300,000.
The opening ceremony was attended by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade of Tatarstan Oleg Korobchenko, Uzbekistan’s Deputy Minister of Energy Umid Mamadaminov, Chairman of the Board of the Russian Cluster Association and the Industrial Cluster of Tatarstan Sergey Mayorov, CEO of PitON Oleg Gusev, as well as other industry representatives.
The Chirchik Technopark, where the new facility is located, was established in 2022 in cooperation with the Khimgrad technopolis of Tatarstan and is positioned as a platform for developing industrial cooperation and introducing modern technologies.
Further cooperation is expected to gain momentum during the INNOPROM. Central Asia International Industrial Exhibition, which will take place in Tashkent from 20 to 22 April. A delegation from the Industrial Cluster of Tatarstan is set to participate.
The exhibition will feature seven companies, including system integrator FD-Telecom, busbar manufacturer Piton Kama, lifting equipment supplier NPO TATKRAN, trenchless pipeline rehabilitation solutions provider Technics, burner systems developer NPP PROMA, oil and gas company TMS Group, and medical implants and instruments manufacturer Anatomica, specializing in traumatology, spinal surgery, and orthopedics.
