Over 650,000 children go to school for first time in Uzbekistan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- On 2 September 2017, the Day of Knowledge was held in all schools of Uzbekistan. In 2017-2018 academic year, over 650,000 children went to the first class.

The press service of the Ministry of Public Education said that all first-graders received the gift of the President of Uzbekistan.

The gift of the President consists of a school bag with educational supplies of 12 titles.

Today, all students took part in the lessons of Independence and the memory of the First President Islam Karimov.
