One-year-old girl killed by falling tree

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- A one-year-old girl died in Chilanzar district of Tashkent as a result of a falling tree. This was reported by the press service of the Prosecutor General’s Office of Uzbekistan.

The tragedy happened on 3 May around 11:50 in the 5th quarter of the Chilanzar district.

The nanny, a 55-year-old woman, was walking with a girl in a stroller when a tree fell on them. The child died on the spot.

The district prosecutor’s office began an investigation into this incident.
