President of Turkmenistan Receives Uzbek Foreign Minister in Ashgabat

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — The President of Turkmenistan, Serdar Berdimuhamedov, received the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan, Bakhtiyor Saidov, in Ashgabat on 14 July 2026. During the meeting, Saidov conveyed the sincere greetings and best wishes of the President of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, to the Turkmen leader.

According to the head of the Uzbek foreign ministry, the sides noted with satisfaction the dynamic development of the Uzbek-Turkmen strategic partnership.

Special attention during the talks was paid to maintaining active contacts between the two nations across various levels of government, as well as the steady growth in the volume of bilateral trade.

Bakhtiyor Saidov emphasized that Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan intend to continue joint efforts aimed at further strengthening their centuries-old bonds of friendship, good-neighborliness, and strategic partnership.
