Korzinka and Ministry of Education Launch School Support Project

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — The Korzinka supermarket chain and the Ministry of Preschool and School Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan have signed a memorandum of cooperation to implement joint projects aimed at supporting children and developing education.

The first initiative under this partnership will be a social and educational project titled "Ready for School." This project is designed to help students in grades 2 through 4 from socially vulnerable families prepare for the upcoming school year. As part of the program, 500 children will receive sets of school supplies alongside gift vouchers from the Korzinka supermarket chain.

In addition to providing targeted material assistance to families, the project plans to host events aimed at fostering a culture of reading, building constructive study habits, and actively involving parents in the learning process.

The Deputy Minister of Preschool and School Education, Farkhod Bokiev, noted that preparing children for school requires the combined efforts of the government, society, and the business sector. He stated that the ministry supports initiatives that assist families and stimulate children's interest in learning, adding that the signed memorandum reflects a shared commitment to developing education and supporting children nationwide.

The Chief Executive Officer of the Korzinka supermarket chain, Akmal Asadov, emphasized that supporting youth and promoting education are vital pillars of the company's social responsibility. He pointed out that cooperation with the ministry will help schoolchildren start the new school year with confidence while encouraging stronger parental involvement in their children's education.

The company stated that the memorandum represents the next phase in its expanding social initiatives conducted in partnership with government institutions and public organizations. The partnership is expected to establish a solid foundation for future efforts to improve access to quality education and implement long-term social programs benefiting the younger generation.
