Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — One person was injured when a gas-air mixture ignited in an apartment in a multi-storey residential building in Tashkent’s Uchtepa District.
The injured person was taken to hospital, the press service of the Tashkent Emergency Situations Department reported.
The department received the report at 10:00 on 5 November. The incident occurred in a residential building in Chilanzar’s 23rd quarter.
Rescue teams arrived at the scene and quickly extinguished the fire. The ignition partially damaged the doors and windows of a neighbouring apartment.
Specialists are currently investigating the cause of the incident and assessing the material damage.
