Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Uzbekistan's meteorological agency, UzHydromet, has rejected reports circulating on social media and news channels claiming that heavy rainfall is expected during the first ten days of November.

According to UzHydromet, the claims do not correspond to forecasts issued by meteorologists.

The agency said several online publications had attributed predictions of heavy precipitation in early November to UzHydromet. However, it clarified that the information was inconsistent with its official forecasts.

UzHydromet acknowledged that rainfall is a normal feature of the autumn season and that seasonal precipitation is widely anticipated.

Nevertheless, current forecasts indicate that only a limited number of days with precipitation are expected in the coming days.

The agency urged the public not to rely on unverified weather information circulating online and encouraged residents to consult official sources.

UzHydromet said updated weather forecasts are available through its official information channels.
