Number of cattle in Uzbekistan reach about 12.2m heads

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- Uzbekistan realized about 5,200 projects on development of cattle, poultry, fish breeding and bee farms.

Commercial banks of Uzbekistan sent 464 billion soums of loans to finance these projects, the Ministry of Economy of Uzbekistan said.

The country produced 2.2 million tonnes of meat in live weight (+6.8%), 9.7 million tonnes of milk (+7.5%) and 6.1 billion eggs (+10.6%), etc.
