No Uzbek Casualties Reported in East Nusa Tenggara Earthquake
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — No citizens of Uzbekistan have been identified among those killed or injured following a powerful earthquake in Indonesia's East Nusa Tenggara province, according to Omonulla Fayziyev, press secretary to the Uzbek Minister of Foreign Affairs.
Fayziyev expressed deep condolences to the families and loved ones of the victims and wished a speedy recovery to those injured in the disaster.
The Embassy of Uzbekistan in Indonesia is closely monitoring the situation and maintaining active communication with local authorities. As of publication, no reports of Uzbek nationals among the casualties have been received.
