Russian media reported that sales of Daewoo Nexia rose by 126% to 4,435 cars in August. This model also occupied the fifth place on the most traded car in Russia.
Nexia is popular in Russia due to low price and thanks to car shortage at rivals, as well as crediting programme Uz-Daewoo Finance. About 24% of Daewoo cars sold through this programme.
Sales of Daewoo Matiz made up 3,016 units in August 2010. The growth rate was 79%.
