New Uzbek-Italian-Russian fruit processing firm set up in central region

A new Uzbek-Italian-Russian joint venture has been set up in central Uzbekistan to process fruit and vegetables, the UzA news agency reported on 22 August.
"The Uzbek-Italian-Russian joint venture Sekko-Alessandro has begun its operation in Tashkent Region’s Ortachirchiq District," the report said.
"The new joint venture will process over 2.5 tonnes of fruit and vegetables a day. The fruit and vegetables will be supplied by the Omad farm, which is a founder of the joint venture. The new company will provide about 80 young people with jobs," it added.
