Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — In the run-up to Navruz, one of the most significant holidays in Eastern culture, there has been a surge in demand across Central Asian countries for goods related to festive table preparations, home decorations, and gifts. This trend reflects consumers’ commitment to preserving cultural traditions and creating a warm holiday atmosphere.

According to Wildberries, shoppers in Central Asia are actively purchasing home textiles, tableware, festive accessories, and food products.

In Uzbekistan, ahead of the celebratory feasts, demand has increased for tablecloths (+11%), kitchen towels (+59%), and plates (+23%).

In the beauty category, the most significant growth was seen in purchases of cosmetic pencils (+49%), creams (+12%), and powders (+11%).

In Kyrgyzstan, consumers have been ordering decorative items and festive decorations in high volumes. Demand for artificial plants has surged by 183%, home fragrances by 107%, and candles by 51%. To enhance their festive tables, Kyrgyz shoppers have been buying more kitchen towels (+119%) and bedding sets (+64%). In the food category, purchases of gift food sets (+125%), chocolates (+111%), and tea (+92%) have significantly increased.

In Kazakhstan, ahead of the holiday, users have been actively purchasing spices and seasonings (+69%), as well as edible seeds (+313%), highlighting the tradition of preparing special dishes for Navruz.
