Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Tashkent’s buses carry an average of 1,491,117 passengers a day. Public transport services in the capital are provided across 165 routes operated by Tashshahartranskhizmat JSC.
On 16 September, 343,997 passengers used city buses between 07:00 and 10:00 during the morning peak period.
The highest passenger traffic during this period was recorded on Route 131, which runs between Dustlik-2 residential area and Olimpiya residential area, with 5,166 passengers.
Route 116, connecting Medgorodok and the Chilanzar clothing market, carried 4,402 passengers, while Route 24, running between the TTZ bus station and the sixth quarter of Yunusabad residential area, carried 4,131 passengers.
Route 38, connecting Almazar mahalla and the Uzbekqishloqmash plant, carried 3,661 passengers during the morning period.
Overall, the 165 routes operated by Tashshahartranskhizmat provide transport services to an average of 1,491,117 passengers over the course of a day.
