Nasaf to face Al Wahdat in AFC Cup semifinal

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- Nasaf Karshi, which outplayed Thailand’s Chonburi in the quarterfinal of the AFC Cup, will face Jordan’s Al Wahdat in the semifinal of the tournament.

Al Wehdat eased into the semi-finals of the AFC Cup after a confident performance saw them run out 3-0 winners over Duhok at Duhok Stadium. The Jordanian team led 5-1 from the first leg of the quarter-final and a comeback never looked likely with the home side outplayed over the 90 minutes.

The first leg of the semifinal match will be held at Central Stadium in Qarshi on 4 October and the second led at King Abdulla Stadium in Amman on 18 October.

In this connection, the match between Neftchi and Nasaf will be rescheduled from 2 October to October.
