Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Uzbekistan's national team completed its campaign at the Asian Boxing Championships for the U19 and U23 age categories, held in Jakarta. On the final day of competition, Uzbek boxers won four gold and two silver medals in the U23 finals.

Ilhomjon Ergashev won the Asian title in the men's 65 kg division after defeating India's Vanshaj 4-1 in the final.

Abdullokh Madaminov claimed gold in the 70 kg category with a 5-0 victory over Kazakhstan's Nurbek Mursala in the title bout.

Fazliddin Erkinboev secured another gold medal for Uzbekistan by defeating Kazakhstan's Oner Seilkhan 5-0 by unanimous decision in the 80 kg final.

In the men's over 90 kg division, Ozodbek Aliyev became Asian champion after edging Kyrgyzstan's Mirzakir Koshaliev 3-2 in a closely contested final.

Silver medals were won by Norbek Abdullayev in the 85 kg category, following a 1-4 defeat to Kazakhstan's Temirlan Mukatayev in the final, and Samir Sobirov in the 90 kg division, who lost 2-3 to Kazakhstan's Ibragim Betayev.

Farozbek Dusmatov took bronze in the 55 kg category. Abdurakhmon Makhmudjonov earned bronze in the 60 kg division, while Abdulaziz Abdulhamidov finished third in the 75 kg category.

Overall, Uzbekistan won four gold, two silver and three bronze medals across 10 weight categories, securing first place in the final medal standings. Kazakhstan finished second.

The Uzbekistan team concluded the championships with a successful overall performance, confirming its strong level of preparation and leading position in Asia among youth-age boxers.
