Namangan Region Launches $90 Million Poultry Investment Project
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Implementation of a US$90 million investment project to produce breeding chicks and develop export capacity has begun in the Kasansay district of Uzbekistan's Namangan region, according to the press service of the Kasansay district khokimiyat.
The governor of Namangan region, Shavkatjon Abdurazzakov, visited the district to inspect the progress of the project implemented by LLC Kukumboy naslli parranda and attended the groundbreaking ceremony.
The project, titled "Production of Breeding Chicks and Export Orientation," will be developed across an 85-hectare site.
To finance the project, the enterprise will commit US$30 million of its own funds, with an additional US$60 million planned to be raised through bank loans.
Once operating at full capacity, the enterprise plans to manufacture breeding chicks using modern technology while expanding distribution channels to foreign markets.
The initiative is expected to create 800 new jobs, with full completion scheduled for the second quarter of 2028.
The launch of the facility is anticipated to establish a modern production chain within the poultry sector in the Kasansay district, while increasing export volumes and strengthening the area's overall investment potential.
