Motor patrols to be created in Tashkent, two regions

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- Groups of road-patrol service on motorcycles will be formed in Uzbekistan as an experiment.

On 11 July 2017, President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev signed a resolution “On measures to further improving the system of road safety”.

According to the resolution, groups of road-patrol service on motorcycles will be established in Tashkent city, Samarkand and Khorezm regions.

The new groups will ensure the safety of traffic in hard-to-reach roadways and streets, places of mass congestion, as well as provide support to foreign and other delegations.
