Ministry of Energy to hold talks with GD Power - Powerchina on optimizing electricity tariffs

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- The Ministry of Energy of Uzbekistan will hold additional negotiations with the Chinese company GD Power - Powerchina to optimize electricity tariffs.

The Ministry of Energy said that the department considers the proposed price too high and will work to reduce it.

Consortium GP Power - Power China has been selected as the winner of the tender for the construction of a 150 MW photovoltaic plant in Namangan region with a bid of 4,828 US cents per kilowatt-hour of electricity generated.
