Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- On 11 June, the Minister of Energy of Uzbekistan Jurabek Mirzamakhmudov held a meeting in Vienna with the Deputy Minister of Federal Finance of Austria A. Reichardt.

Together with the Federal Ministry of Finance, a business dialogue was held with representatives of a number of large companies in order to discuss investment projects in the field of energy and chemistry, financing large foreign companies, providing technological solutions, organizing the production of necessary equipment together with local entrepreneurs within the framework of projects.

At the meeting, Austria also proposed creating an Uzbek-Austrian working group with the aim of constantly studying existing opportunities for cooperation in the fields of energy and chemistry and monitoring the joint implementation of promising projects.

As a result of the business dialogue, a Memorandum was signed between the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Federal Ministry of Finance of Austria on deepening cooperation, which provides for the creation of a joint working group.

This, in turn, will undoubtedly take mutual cooperation to a new level in a short time.
