MFA hosts meeting with the UNFPA Representative

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- On 4 January 2024, Deputy Foreign Minister Muzaffar Madrakhimov held a meeting with the head of the UN Population Fund Office in Uzbekistan Nigina Abaszadeh.

The parties discussed the current state and prospects for further development of cooperation between Uzbekistan and the Fund.

The sides considered the issues regarding the implementation of new projects in the areas of healthcare, gender equality, demography and youth support.

An exchange of views took place on intensifying interaction in the implementation of priority tasks enshrined in the Uzbekistan-2030 Strategy.
