Man Sets Fire to Former Father-in-Law’s Car in Andijan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — On 3 August, reports surfaced on social media about a car arson incident in Andijan. The regional police department has provided details.

According to law enforcement, the incident occurred at around 1:28 a.m. near house No. 48 on Uchkoprik Street in the Zangibobo mahalla of Andijan district. The homeowner reported that his Nexia-2, parked in front of the yard, was set on fire by his former son-in-law amid a family conflict.

Police officers promptly arrived at the scene. A criminal case has been opened under Part 1 of Article 173 of the Criminal Code (intentional destruction or damage to property). An investigation is underway.
