Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — A Malaysian delegation visiting Uzbekistan has reviewed opportunities in the country’s agro-industrial sector, including agrochemical and food production facilities.
One of the key stops in the programme was the joint venture Ifoda Agro Kimyo Himoya, which specialises in agricultural products. The delegation was briefed on the company’s production capacity, international cooperation, and the modern technologies and innovative solutions used in the agrochemical sector.
During the visit, the Malaysian side noted strong domestic demand for mineral fertilisers, including potash and phosphate products used in agriculture.
At the conclusion of discussions, the two sides agreed to continue cooperation and develop joint initiatives in agrochemistry, fertiliser production, scientific research, and investment collaboration.
As part of the visit, the delegation also toured Boyterak gosht enterprise in the Tashkent region. Guests were introduced to the full cycle of meat production, from livestock intake, veterinary control, and quarantine procedures to halal slaughter, primary processing, cooling, and storage.
Representatives were also shown modern quality control and safety systems applied at all stages of meat processing, including cattle slaughter, raw material handling, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
