Uzbekistan's Beef Imports Rise 9.1% in First Half
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Uzbekistan imported 72,000 tonnes of beef worth US$359.5 million in January–June 2026.
Imports increased by 6,000 tonnes, or 9.1%, compared with the same period last year, according to the National Statistics Committee.
India remained Uzbekistan's largest supplier of beef, exporting 33,900 tonnes during the first six months of the year.
Belarus ranked second with 19,600 tonnes, followed by Kazakhstan, which exported 10,600 tonnes of beef to Uzbekistan.
Pakistan supplied 4,000 tonnes during the reporting period, while another 4,000 tonnes were imported from other countries.
