“Lawn SCO” created in Beijing

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- A delegation of Uzbekistan participated in a ceremony of laying the “Lawn SCO” in the Secretariat of the organization in Beijing, China, on 29 April.

The Delegation of Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan led by Deputy Minister Anvarjon Nosirov is in China with a working visit.

The delegation of Ministries of Foreign Affairs of China, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia and Tajikistan also attended the event. The heads of delegations have planted trees, symbolizing a growing potential of the organization, which this year celebrates its 15th anniversary.

Currently, the SCO covers 6 Member States, 6 Observer States (Afghanistan, Belarus, India, Iran, Mongolia and Pakistan) and 6 Dialogue Partners (Armenia, Azerbaijan, Cambodia, Nepal, Sri Lanka and Turkey).
