KMPO to continue supply equipment to gas sector of Uzbekistan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- Kazan Motor Construction Production Union (KMPO, Russia) will supply five sets of gas compressor units with NK-16-18ST engines to the gas booster station No. 2 at Shortan gas field in Uzbekistan.

Besides, the company will supply other equipment like separators, air cooling units, and others within the “turnkey” project.

The Russian company said that the contract was signed due to positive experience with the Uzbek customers. Last year, KMPO supplied two gas compressor units to Shortan deposit. This year, the gas compressor units was installed and commissioned in July 2013.

Currently, the gas compressor units are working and at the end of the August their work time made up 2,000 hours.
