Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov held a meeting today with Japanese Ambassador Takashi Hattori, who is completing his diplomatic mission in the country.
During the meeting, both sides emphasized the importance of further strengthening the Uzbekistan–Japan strategic partnership and discussed the expansion of practical cooperation in trade, investment, education, cultural exchange, and other key areas.
Minister Saidov expressed gratitude to Ambassador Hattori for his active role in advancing bilateral relations and wished him success in his future professional endeavors.
Ambassador Takashi Hattori presented his credentials to President Shavkat Mirziyoyev on 12 April 2023, officially assuming his duties as Japan’s ambassador to Uzbekistan.
