Italy defeats England in Group D match

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- Italy outplayed England in their opening match of the Group D of the 2014 FIFA World Cup Brazil.

The match ended with the score 2-1. Claudio Marchisio and Mario Balotelli were on target for Italy. Daniel Sturridge scored for England.

On 19 June, England will face Uruguay, while Italy will play against Costa Rica on 20 June 2014.
