Istomin to face Tsonga in SA Open

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Denis Istomin of Uzbekistan will face top-seeded Frenchman Jo-Wilfried Tsonga in the second-round of the inaugural US$500,000 South African Tennis Open.

Istomin defeated Spain’s Santiago Ventura 4:6, 6:4 и 7:6 to reach the second round of the tournament.

The eventual champion this week will collect US$79,000.
