Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — The Uzbekistan national taekwondo team won 12 medals at the Kim Un Yong Cup, an international World Taekwondo tournament held in Seoul, South Korea. Uzbek athletes secured three gold, two silver, and seven bronze medals.
Gold medals were won by Jakhongir Khudoyberdiyev in the under-54 kg weight category, Jasurbek Jaysunov in the under-80 kg category, and Ozoda Sobirjonova in the under-67 kg category.
Silver medals went to Asadbek Samandarov in the under-58 kg weight class and Yodgorbek Juraboyev in the under-80 kg division.
The tournament's bronze medalists were Nazarali Nazarov in the under-63 kg category, Ayubkhon Nabiyev in the under-68 kg category, Laylo Khasanova in the under-53 kg category, Madina Mirabzalova and Shabbona Abduvaliyeva in the under-57 kg category, Mokhidil Uktamjonova in the under-62 kg category, and Iroda Mirtojiyeva in the over-73 kg division.
