Istiqlol stadium to host match between Uzbekistan and New Zealand

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- New central stadium Istiqlol (Independence) in Ferghana will host one of two friendly matches between Uzbekistan U-20 and New Zealand U-20, the press service of Uzbekistan Football Federation said.

Uzbekistan U-20 is holding preparations to the FIFA U-20 World Cup, which will be held in New Zealand in May-June 2015. Within the preparations, Uzbekistan will hold two friendly matches against New Zealand.

The first match between two teams will be held on 3 April and it will take place in new Istiqlol stadium in Ferghana.

The second match will be held on 6 April 2015, but the UFF said it will announce venue for the second match later.
