Ismatulla Irgashev meets with the Rapporteur of the European Parliament on Uzbekistan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- On 22 February 2023, Special Representative of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan for Afghanistan Ismatulla Irgashev met with the Rapporteur of the European Parliament on Uzbekistan Ilhan Kyuchyuk.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the current state and prospects of relations between Uzbekistan and the European Parliament in the Afghan direction.

The European side was informed about the efforts of Uzbekistan to provide humanitarian assistance to the Afghan people, as well as economic assistance to this country.

Ilhan Kyuchyuk emphasized the significant role of Uzbekistan in establishing a long-term and sustainable peace in Afghanistan.
