Irmatov repeats record on number of officiated matches at WCs

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- FIFA referee Ravshan Irmatov from Uzbekistan repeated a record on number of matches, officiated at the World Cups.

Yesterday, Ravshan Irmatov officiated the match between Germany and USA (1-0). He worked at his eighth World Cup match.

He equaled with Joël Quiniou of France, Benito Archundia of Mexico and Jorge Larrionda of Uruguay, who worked at eight matches of the World Cup.

Ravshan Irmatov officiated five matches at 2010 FIFA World Cup South Africa and three matches at 2014 FIFA World Cup Brazil. Irmatov has good chance to set new record.
