Governor of Tashkent region appointed

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev appointed new governor of Tashkent region on 15 December 2016.

According to the presidential decree, Shukurullo Babayev was appointed as the governor of Tashkent region.

Islamjan Ergashkhodjaev had been working as acting governor of Tashkent region since 12 August 2016.

Islamjan Ergashkhodjaev was appointed as Deputy Prosecutor-General Office of Uzbekistan and Prosecutor of Tashkent region.
