Georgian, British envoys hand over credentials to Uzbek President

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Newly appointed Ambassadors Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Georgia and the United Kingdom presented credentials to President of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov on 5 August in Tashkent.

Receiving Georgian envoy Georgiy Kublashvili and British ambassador Rupert Joy, Uzbek President Islam Karimov wished them success in their mission in Uzbekistan.

Ambassador Georgiy Kublashvili said his main task was to maximally expand the scale of cooperation with consideration of the available potential.

Rupert Joy said Britain was interested in boosting economic cooperation and expanding relations in the field of education.
