Galina Melnikova receives People’s Artist title

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev signed a decree “On awarding honourable title “People’s Artist of the Republic of Uzbekistan to Galina Melnikova” on 23 December 2016.

According to the decree, the Uzbek leader awarded the honourable title People’s Artist of Uzbekistan to Galina Melnikova.

The title was awarded for fruitful creative activity in the National Television and Radio Company of Uzbekistan for many years, worthy contribution to the development of narration art, etc.

Anchorperson of National Television and Radio Company of Uzbekistan marks her 80th birthday on 23 December 2016.
