Furkat Sidikov presents copies of his credentials to the head of protocol of the US State Department

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- Furkat Sidikov has assumed the duties of the Ambassador of Uzbekistan to the United States.

On 3 April, Furkat Sidikov presented copies of his credentials to the head of protocol at the US State Department, Rufus Gifford.

On 3 March, Furkat Sidikov was approved for the post of Ambassador of Uzbekistan to the United States. Prior to that, he worked as the First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan.

In this post, he replaced Javlon Vakhabov.
