Four Insurance Companies Fined for Regulatory Violations

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — The National Agency for Perspective Projects (NAPP) has imposed penalties on four insurance companies as part of its oversight of compliance with financial and legal regulations.

Following an analysis of the firms’ financial statements, violations were identified that resulted in total fines amounting to 156.5 million soums.

Specifically, the following companies were fined: JSC Insurance Company GLOBAL INSURANCE GROUP — 35.0 million soums, JSC SEMURG INSURANCE — 31.5 million soums, JSC Insurance Company INSON — 40.0 million soums, and JSC ALSKOM SUG’URTA KOMPANIYASI — 50.0 million soums.
