Foreign Ministers of Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan hold talks in Tashkent

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- On 17 October 2016, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Abdulaziz Kamilov met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan Elmar Mammadyarov.

Elmar Mammadyarov arrived in Tashkent to attend the 43rd session of the Council of Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation.

According to the Uzbek Foreign Ministry, the Ministers discussed the state and prospects of bilateral relations and exchanged views on some international and regional problems.

At the meeting special attention has been paid to issues of the agenda of the OIC Council of Foreign Ministers and holding other events in the framework of Uzbekistan’s chairmanship in the organization.
