Foreign Minister meets with the U.S. House of Representatives delegation

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- On 26 March 2024, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov met with the U.S. House of Representatives delegation – Mike Rogers, Adam Smith, Salud Carbajal, and Veronica Escobar. 

The parties emphasized the opening of new avenues of Uzbekistan – the U.S. strategic partnership. Minister noted that Uzbekistan values the support of American partners not only in promoting inter-parliamentary cooperation but also in many areas from facilitating business-to-business to educational ties.

It was underscored that Uzbekistan is interested in developing more direct engagements with every state of the U.S., especially in the economic dimension.
